The Culina Careers website needed to look different from the main website without losing the Culina corporate identity. A custom login option was required for new employees which would lead to a separate Onboarding page where various policies could be viewed, downloaded and terms and conditions could be accepted. The Onboarding procedure required a record keeping function in the backend of the Content Management System (CMS) for audit purposes.
Block colours were used on various pages to set the Careers website apart from the main website. We tweaked the Onboarding process for the new website. The old process had each policy on a separate page which required new employees to click through 17 separate pages. We reduced this to one single page where each policy can be viewed and all policies can be downloaded as one single archive file. A record is kept in the backend of the CMS for each employee once the terms and conditions are accepted.
The website went live in March 2015. Feedback from new and current employees has been very positive. The website is very easy to navigate and due to the reponsive nature of the CMS used looks great no matter what device it is viewed on. The revised Onboarding procedure has reduced the time that new employees have to spent on downloading and accepting the Culina policies by a significant amount of time.
